Sanderling Resort

If you’re looking to be transported into a Nicholas Sparks novel look no further than the Sanderling Resort, located in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

First Things First, Location

Sanderling Resort is located beachfront between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound, so there are no lack of beautiful views. Every morning, you can watch the sun rise over the ocean, casting a golden glow across the shore. And every evening, you can settle into a comfortable chair and watch the sun go down as you relax next to one of the fire pits.

Accommodations

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the vacation rentals, and I have to say, it was the most amazing time.

It felt like a home away from home--so cozy, so beautiful, so peaceful!

The perfect place for a family vacation or even a romantic getaway. Just what you would picture for a stay in the Outer Banks and it more than exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the Evans house that had 4 separate bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and 2 wrap around porches on each level.

Activities

There is no shortage of activities in the Outer Banks, and although we didn’t get to experience most of them, I know exactly what we will be doing during our next stay and we did get to visit one of the lighthouses in the area, the Bodie Island Light Station.
