New York City
From New York City with love,
There’s no place like NYC
Things to do
The Big Bus | Was by far our best decision of the whole trip. I've never felt like more of a tourist in my entire life, but it was 100% worth it especially if you only have a short amount of time in the city like we did! So The Big Bus is a hop on hop off bus that takes you around the entire city from early in the morning to late at night. They have a ton of buses so once you get off some place the next one will come around in 10ish minutes. It was perfect for us because we got to see all the major sites without having to take the subway or walk around the entire city. I suggest taking the Big Bus instead of uber/taxing or the subway because you will also get to see more of the city this way! if you want more info on The Big Bus they are in a lot of major cities and here is the link to their site!
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar | I have told so many people about this place because I think it may be one of the coolest restaurants/bars I have ever been to! We went there for brunch the first day and it was the best way to start our trip! We had the best view of The Empire State Building while we were eating, and I wish we could have gone back at night to see the igloos on the rooftop! I couldn't suggest this place enough, If you ever go to NYC this has to be a place that you go! Here is a link to their site as well so that you guys don't think I'm just exaggerating!
Tony's Di Napoli | This is an Italian, family-style restaurant in Times Square, it was so good that we literally went there twice and we were only in the city for 3 days!
Empire State Building | Some people say to skip The Empire State Building and go to top of the rock but if you ask me I think you should still go because it is definitely an experience and just a cool thing you can say that you have been to the very top!
Broadway Show | I definitely suggest going to a Broadway or an Off-Broadway show while in NYC because it is literally a city known for their shows! We decided to go to one super last minute so I honestly can't even remember the name of the show but it was so cute and another great experience!
2 Bro's Pizza | My last but not least suggestion on something you should do while in the city is to go to 2 Bro's Pizza because it is awesome pizza and you can get a slice + a drink for $2 or $3! What a steal, especially compared to the $9 hotdog we had in times square.
