Hi.

Welcome to my travel blog!

Oregon, USA

Oregon, USA

With love from Oregon,

Oregon is one of those places I can't believe is in the United States because it is so magical. We stopped at a ton of places on our road trip and here are some of the things I think you should definitely do when in Oregon!

Things to do:

Voodoo Doughnuts | is the original creative doughnut place. They were established in 2003 in Portland, Oregon and most of their locations are throughout the state with a couple other locations in the US. This was the first place we visited before leaving Portland along with one of the biggest book stores that I have ever been in! We got about 10 doughnuts including one of their famous little voodoo men, a fruit loop doughnut, Reeses peanut buttercup doughnut, and more normal ones such as coconut, coconut peanut butter, chocolate, and apple fritter!

Cannon Beach | this was the first beach we went to see and it was definitely the best beach by far! This beach is pretty infamous in Oregon because of the massive haystack rock that is to the left on the beach. We ate at a cute little seafood place right on the beach with a great view of the rock/beach and it was amazing!

Cape Kiwanda | Most of the places that we went to I found on pinterest and didn't really know what to expect once we got there. This beach was so cool and unlike any beach I've ever been to! There is a massive sand mountain on the beach that I decided to climb, I didn't even make it all the way to the top because it was a deceivingly long way up and I was just not prepared for a hike that day! lol but to the place I got I had an awesome view of the beach and can say I've now climbed a sand mountain!

Otter Crest Beach | This is a place that we just happened upon, we were looking up hotels while driving down the coast and happened to find one at Otter Crest. We went down to their little section of the beach to watch the sunset and it was definitely one of those memories I will never forget because it was so beautiful!

Multnomah Falls | Without a doubt the most visited waterfall in Oregon. There is a stretch of highway that you can stop at various places to see amazing waterfalls and I believe that Multnomah Falls is one of the first stops. I think it is the second biggest waterfall that I have ever seen (the first being a sea cliff waterfall in Maui) and is very beautiful but also very crowded! Worth a stop for sure!

Elowah Falls | To get to Elowah falls is a little bit of a hike, and by little bit I mean that very literally I'm pretty sure it was less than a mile hike. It was very cool and not what I expected to see once you got there you could go stand under it!
